"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: (1 Peter 5:8)
We live in an "instant" society where the attitude of "I Want It and I Want It NOW" runs rampant. This is the breeding grounds for the wiles of Satan. Enter stage left: TEMPTATION! In our quest for immediate gratification, we lose God as our main focus and go in search of our own solutions to a need.
I FIND THAT THE MAJOR TROUBLE WITH TEMPTATION IS... IT IS JUST SO TEMPTING!
All of us are tempted - just in diverse ways. Satan seems to identify our weakness and send the attraction and attack from that direction. Thomas Moore wrote: "Eve, with all the fruits of Eden blest, save only one, rather than leave that one unknown, lost all the rest." What a sad eulogy.

"There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."
(1 Corinthians 10:13)
